أعلنت أكاديمية فنون وعلوم الصور المتحركة "الأوسكار" منذ قليل، قوائمها القصيرة والنهائية لجوائز الأوسكار 2022، في 23 فئة سينمائية، التي أعلنتها الممثلة والمنتجة الأمريكية أليسون ويليامز، والممثل ذات الأصول الباكستانية ريز أحمد، الذي بدأ مقدمته بأنه سعيد ومتحمس لإعلان القوائم القصيرة، وعندما سألته ويليامز عن شعوره لكونه سبق أن ترشح للأوسكار، وما إذا كان يختلف عن إحساسه عندما يعلن الترشيحات؟، قال: "نعم بالتأكيد الإحساس مختلف، فأنا مستيقظ منذ أمس، وتناولت الكثير من الكافيين، وتدربت كثيرًا على كل شيء سيحدث اليوم، أما حينما كنت أترشح كنت أتحمس فقط دون ضغط أو توتر".
وكان التصويت على القوائم المُختصرة بدأ يوم 12 يناير الجاري واستمر حتى 17 من الشهر نفسه، على أن تُعلن الجوائز في الحفل الذي سيُقام على مسرح دولبي الشهير بهوليوود، 12 مارس المقبل، الذي يُقدمه المذيع الشهير جيمي كيميل، مقدم البرنامج الأمريكي ذائع الصيت Jimmy Kimmel Live وسيُذاع على قناة ABC.
